Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 Sets New Benchmarks in Student Engagement

The 2026 edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha has emerged as a landmark moment in the programme’s journey, with its reach expanding to every corner of the nation. This year, the interaction truly reflected the diverse voices of India, bringing together students from various regions on a single, unified platform.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged directly with young learners not just in Delhi, but also in Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Dev Mogara (Gujarat), and Guwahati (Assam). This multi-city approach ensured that perspectives from the east, west, north, south, and the heartland of the country were all represented in one cohesive dialogue.

Record-Breaking Participation Numbers

The scale of participation in this edition was nothing short of extraordinary. Over 4.5 crore students registered for the event, while more than 2.26 crore individuals actively took part in the associated activities. When combined, the total engagement crossed an impressive 6.76 crore participants, underscoring the programme’s growing influence among the youth.

A Glimpse into the Eighth Edition

The eighth instalment of Pariksha Pe Charcha was broadcast on 10 February 2025, featuring a fresh and innovative format. Held at the Sundar Nursery in New Delhi, the session brought together 36 students from each state and union territory. These young delegates represented a wide spectrum of educational institutions, including government schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, CBSE-affiliated schools, and Navodaya Vidyalayas.

Adding to the richness of the discussions were alumni of the Prerana programme, along with winners of Kala Utsav and Veer Gatha competitions. The edition was structured around seven distinct episodes, each focusing on themes such as sports and discipline, mental health, nutrition, technology and finance, and creativity and positivity. Renowned personalities shared their insights, offering students practical guidance and inspiration to navigate academic and personal challenges.

Global Recognition and Impact

In 2025, Pariksha Pe Charcha achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a Guinness World Record. The initiative saw participation from students across more than 245 countries, teachers from 153 nations, and parents from 149 countries. This global footprint highlighted the universal relevance of the conversations around examinations and student well-being.

The programme serves as a vital platform for students, educators, and parents to discuss examination preparedness, stress management, and essential life skills. According to the Ministry of Education, what began as a dialogue has now evolved into a widespread movement. The core objective remains steadfast: to empower students to approach examinations with confidence, a positive mindset, and a creative outlook. Through such interactions, the initiative continues to inspire a generation to view challenges as opportunities for growth.
