AISSEE 2026 Provisional Answer Key Released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially published the provisional answer key for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2026 on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the exam, conducted on 18 January 2026, can now access the answer key to evaluate their responses and estimate their probable scores.

The examination was held in pen-and-paper mode across 464 test centres nationwide. With the answer key now available, aspirants can cross-check their answers against the official responses and calculate their expected marks before the final results are announced.

Availability and Access Details

The provisional answer key will remain accessible on the official website until 14 February 2026. To view the answer key, candidates need to log in using their application number and password. This window provides sufficient time for students to review their performance and take necessary action if they find discrepancies.

Objection Submission Process

Candidates who disagree with any of the answers listed in the provisional key have the option to challenge them. The objection filing process is entirely online, and a non-refundable fee of 200 rupees per question applies. Once all challenges are reviewed by subject matter experts, the NTA will release the final answer key based on their assessment.

Key Rules for Filing Objections

Before submitting a challenge, candidates should familiarise themselves with the following important guidelines:

  • Objections submitted without the required processing fee will not be considered under any circumstances.
  • A panel of subject experts will verify every challenge received from candidates.
  • If a challenge is found to be valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly.
  • The final answer key, after all necessary modifications, will serve as the basis for preparing and announcing results.
  • Candidates will not receive individual notifications regarding the acceptance or rejection of their objections.
  • Only the final answer key released after the objection review process will be considered authoritative.
  • No complaints related to the answer key will be entertained once results are declared.

OMR Grading Related Objections

In addition to answer key challenges, candidates who are dissatisfied with their OMR sheet grading can also file objections. The fee for this category is 100 rupees per question. Payment can be made using debit cards, credit cards, or internet banking facilities. The NTA will verify such objections against its internal records, and if the claim is found to be legitimate, the relevant data will be corrected.

Step-by-Step Guide to Submit an Objection

Candidates can follow this straightforward procedure to file their objections online:

  • Visit the official website designated for Sainik School entrance examinations.
  • Locate and click on the link for the AISSEE 2026 answer key or challenge submission.
  • Enter your application number and password to log in to your account.
  • Select the specific question or answer you wish to challenge.
  • Choose what you believe is the correct answer and upload any supporting documents or proof if requested.
  • Pay the applicable fee for each question using your preferred payment method.
  • Submit your application once the payment is successfully processed.

Final Decision and Support

The decision made by the expert panel regarding all objections will be treated as final and binding. No further correspondence or requests on this matter will be entertained after the announcement of results. Candidates requiring assistance with the objection process or facing any technical difficulties can reach out to the NTA helpline for guidance. Support is available via phone during working hours, and candidates can also send detailed queries through email to receive a written response from the support team.

It is advisable for all candidates to complete their answer key review and file any necessary objections well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. Keeping a record of the payment confirmation and submitted objections is also recommended for future reference.
