RBSE Class 12 Results 2026: Science, Commerce, and Arts Pass Percentages Announced

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has officially declared the Class 12 examination results for the academic year 2026. The announcement was made during a press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Ajmer. Results have been released for all three major streams—Science, Commerce, and Arts—covering nearly nine lakh students who appeared for the examinations this year.

This year’s outcome reflects a strong overall performance across all faculties. The Science stream recorded a pass percentage of 97.52%, while Commerce saw 93.64% of candidates successfully clear the exams. The Arts stream emerged as the top performer with a pass rate of 97.54%. Notably, female students have once again outperformed their male counterparts in most streams, continuing a trend observed in previous years.

Stream-Wise Performance Breakdown

A detailed analysis of the results reveals interesting patterns across the three streams. The table below provides a comprehensive overview of registration, appearance, and pass percentages for each faculty.

  • Science Stream: Out of 2,87,068 registered students, 2,81,299 appeared for the exams. The stream recorded a total pass percentage of 97.52%, with boys achieving 97.02% and girls excelling at 98.34%. A total of 1,46,644 boys and 98,736 girls secured first division marks.
  • Commerce Stream: With 30,798 registered candidates, 30,580 students actually took the examinations. The overall pass percentage stood at 93.64%. Interestingly, boys performed better here with 94.04% pass rate compared to girls at 92.82%. First division was achieved by 13,976 boys and 8,096 girls.
  • Arts Stream: This was the largest stream with 5,91,023 registrations, of which 5,83,201 students appeared. The pass percentage reached 97.54%, with girls significantly ahead at 98.20% versus boys at 96.68%. First division was secured by 1,56,818 boys and an impressive 2,27,252 girls.

Toppers and Notable Achievements

Science Stream Topper

Divya Bhadu has emerged as the topper in the Science stream with an outstanding score of 499 out of 500 marks, achieving a remarkable percentage of 99.80%. Her exceptional performance sets a high benchmark for future aspirants.

Arts Stream Topper’s Inspiring Journey

Deepika, who topped the Arts stream, shared insights into her preparation strategy during an interview. She emphasized that she never treated studying as a burden and maintained a disciplined schedule throughout the year. Deepika credited her parents, uncle, and teachers for their continuous motivation and support. She highlighted the importance of regular revision and consistent practice in her daily routine. Looking ahead, she aspires to prepare for civil services examinations and dreams of serving the nation as a government officer.

Gender-Wise Performance Analysis

The results indicate a clear trend of female students outperforming males in most streams. In the Science stream, the difference was notable with girls achieving 98.34% compared to boys at 97.02%. The Arts stream showed an even wider gap, with girls at 98.20% and boys at 96.68%. However, the Commerce stream presented an exception where boys (94.04%) surpassed girls (92.82%).

Comparison with Previous Year

When compared to the 2025 results, this year’s overall performance shows a slight decline across all streams. The Science stream witnessed a drop from 98.43% in 2025 to 97.52% in 2026. The Commerce stream experienced a more significant decrease, falling from 99.07% to 93.64%. The Arts stream remained relatively stable, with a marginal decline from 97.78% to 97.54%. Despite these minor reductions, the overall results remain commendable.

District-Wise Performance Highlights

Preliminary data from the results also highlights the top-performing districts across the state. Students from several districts have demonstrated exceptional performance, contributing to the overall success rate. How Students Can Access Their Results

Students can check their results by visiting the official RBSE website. The process requires entering the roll number and date of birth to access the scorecard.
