SRCC Business Conclave 2026: A Centennial Celebration of Leadership and Innovation

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) is marking its 100th year with a landmark edition of its flagship annual event, the SRCC Business Conclave. Scheduled to take place from February 17 to 19, 2026, this year’s conclave carries special significance as the institution celebrates a century of academic excellence and nation-building.

The three-day gathering brings together some of the most influential voices from government, judiciary, business, and public policy. As the college steps into its second century, the conclave aims to spark meaningful conversations about the road ahead while honoring the legacy that has made SRCC one of India’s most respected institutions for commerce and economics education.

The Theme: Century of Excellence

This year’s theme, “Century of Excellence: Redefining Policy, Progress and Peace,” captures the dual spirit of reflection and forward-thinking that defines the occasion. It acknowledges the college’s hundred-year journey of shaping leaders while challenging the current generation to take on the responsibilities of sustainable development, innovative policymaking, and global peacebuilding.

The conclave enters its 18th edition this year, evolving into one of the country’s most prominent undergraduate business forums. What began as a modest gathering has grown into a platform where governance, economic reform, innovation, and international collaboration take center stage. The 2026 edition represents a fusion of institutional memory and fresh perspectives, underscoring SRCC’s enduring commitment to thought leadership.

The festivities kicked off on February 12 with a theme reveal event held on campus. The evening featured a special shoot for the show “Andha Pyaar,” followed by a stand-up comedy performance by Vivek Samtani, Kaustubh Agarwal, and Rajat Sood. It was during this lively gathering that the official theme for the centennial conclave was unveiled to an enthusiastic audience.

Distinguished Speakers and Thought Leaders

The conclave boasts an impressive lineup of speakers representing diverse fields including governance, finance, technology, sustainability, and international affairs. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from and interact with:

  • Chirag Paswan, Union Minister for Food Processing Industries
  • D.Y. Chandrachud, former Chief Justice of India
  • Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs
  • Tejasvi Surya, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha
  • G.D. Bakshi, Indian Army officer

These distinguished personalities will deliver keynote addresses, participate in panel discussions, and engage in interactive Q&A sessions. Their insights are expected to offer fresh perspectives on economic regulation, ethical leadership, and institutional accountability — topics that resonate deeply as India navigates an increasingly complex global landscape.

Startup Conclave: Fostering Purpose-Driven Entrepreneurship

A standout feature of this year’s edition is the dedicated Startup Conclave, designed to give emerging businesses a platform to showcase their ideas. The focus extends beyond profit-making ventures to include startups addressing governance challenges, economic hurdles, technological disruption, and global development issues.

The initiative connects young entrepreneurs with mentors, investors, and industry experts, creating an ecosystem where purpose-driven businesses can thrive. By supporting ventures that contribute to social justice and peace, the Startup Conclave reinforces the broader theme of the centennial celebrations.

National-Level Competitions

This year’s conclave will host a series of national competitions designed to challenge participants intellectually and strategically. Students from across the country can test their skills in:

  • Anthropos (K)apital
  • Indian Silicon Valley
  • Maestro
  • Market Mania
  • (Prod)igy
  • Policy (K)nights
  • Shri Ram Case Competition
  • The Big Sho(r)t

These competitions require participants to develop innovative solutions in policymaking, business strategy, diplomacy, and corporate social responsibility. They are crafted to sharpen critical thinking, strategic reasoning, and ethical decision-making abilities. Winners will receive national recognition, awards, and access to exciting opportunities including pre-placement offers, internships, and direct employment prospects.

Partners and Sponsors

The conclave is supported by an impressive roster of partners. Grant Thornton serves as the principal sponsor, with Dalmia Bharat Cement as co-sponsor and Nivea as co-supporter. Associate organizations include CFA Institute, RK Marble, Shree Cement, Tata Capital, SDA Bocconi, Mindeye Cloth Manufacturers, S8UL, and several others. These collaborations bring additional depth and resources to the event, enriching the experience for all participants.

Looking Ahead: A Milestone for the Future

As SRCC embarks on its second century, the 2026 Business Conclave represents more than a celebration of past achievements. It signals a clear vision for the future — one where excellence continues to evolve, policies adapt to changing times, progress reaches everyone, and peace remains a guiding priority.

The centennial edition of the conclave is a call to action for students, educators, policymakers, and business leaders alike. It invites all stakeholders to contribute to a future that is not only prosperous but also equitable and harmonious. With its rich lineup of speakers, competitions, and networking opportunities, the event promises to be a defining moment in the institution’s storied history.

The doors to this landmark gathering are open to all who wish to be part of the conversation. From February 17 to 19, 2026, SRCC will host what is expected to be its most memorable Business Conclave yet — a fitting tribute to a century of shaping minds and a bold step toward the next hundred years of impact.
