Union Minister Piyush Govind Offers Prayers at Mehandipur Balaji Temple
On Friday, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal visited the revered Siddhpeeth Mehandipur Dham, where he offered prayers and performed special rituals at the temple of self-manifested Balaji Maharaj. The minister spent time in deep devotion, completing the worship with full religious ceremonies.
Rituals at Bhairav Baba and Pretraj Sarkar Shrines
During his visit, Goyal also paid homage at the shrines of Bhairav Baba and Pretraj Sarkar, offering traditional tributes. Security arrangements were made in advance for his arrival, with police and administrative personnel deployed throughout the temple premises.
Welcomed by Temple Trust
Following the darshan, the minister was received at the temple trust’s reception hall by secretary M.K. Mathur. He was briefed about the religious, educational, and social initiatives being carried out under the guidance of the Siddhpeeth’s chief priest, Dr. Nareshpuri Maharaj. The trust also presented him with prasad as a token of blessing.
Goyal Shares His Spiritual Experience
Speaking about his visit, Piyush Goyal expressed that coming to Mehandipur Balaji brings him a deep sense of peace and solace. He noted that the blessings of Balaji Maharaj have always been upon his family, his work, and the nation. “We are all grateful to Balaji Maharaj for this continuous grace,” he stated.

The Union minister offered prayers for the country’s rapid advancement and a bright future. He expressed confidence that Balaji’s blessings would continue to ensure a prosperous and happy life for every citizen of India.
Reports indicate that Goyal has a strong personal faith in Balaji Maharaj and frequently visits the temple with his family. During his latest visit, local officials including Sikrai SDM Navneet Kumar and Deputy SP Dharmraj Chaudhary, along with a police contingent, were present to oversee security arrangements.
