Bihar Board Releases Class 12 Admit Cards for 2026 Intermediate Exams

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially released the admit cards for the Class 12 Intermediate annual theory examinations scheduled for 2026. Students appearing for these exams can now obtain their entry tickets through their respective schools or colleges, with the distribution process scheduled to continue until February 1, 2026.

How Students Can Obtain Their Admit Cards

Unlike previous years, students will not be able to download their admit cards directly from the board’s official website. Instead, the process requires the involvement of their educational institutions. Here’s what students need to know:

  • Admit cards are available on the official BSEB intermediate portal
  • Only school principals can access and download the admit cards using their registered credentials
  • Principals must affix their signature and official seal before distributing the documents to students
  • The entire distribution process must be completed by February 1, 2026

No Further Modifications to Admit Cards

The board had previously issued provisional admit cards based on the application forms submitted online by students. During that period, candidates were given an opportunity to request corrections for any discrepancies. Following the correction window, the board has now released the final versions of the admit cards.

In an official statement, BSEB has made it clear that no further changes will be permitted to the admit cards, including any requests for subject modifications. Any attempt to alter the details after this stage will result in strict disciplinary action against the school principal or the examination center superintendent. Additionally, the examination result of any student involved in such unauthorized changes will be withheld.

Eligibility Criteria for Examination Entry

The admit cards are valid only for students who have successfully cleared their center-up (preliminary) examinations. The board has issued clear directives to all school and college principals regarding this matter:

  • Students who failed their center-up examinations cannot appear for the main exams
  • Candidates who were absent or did not participate in the center-up exams are also ineligible
  • Principals are strictly prohibited from issuing admit cards to ineligible students under any circumstances
  • Violation of these rules will be treated as a serious offense, with accountability falling on both the student and the school principal

Special Provisions for Differently-Abled Candidates

In an effort to make the examination process more inclusive, BSEB has arranged for scribe facilities for differently-abled candidates. This provision ensures that all students can participate in the examinations without facing unnecessary barriers.

For any queries or assistance regarding the admit card process or examination-related matters, students can reach out to the board’s dedicated helpline. The support team is available to address concerns and provide guidance to candidates throughout this period.

Students are advised to maintain regular contact with their schools and colleges to stay updated about the admit card distribution schedule. It is essential to verify all personal details and examination-related information on the admit card upon receipt and report any issues to the school authorities immediately.
