Passing Criteria for CMA Foundation
To successfully clear the CMA Foundation examination, candidates must meet two essential conditions. First, they need to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each individual subject. Second, they must achieve an aggregate score of 50% or more across all papers combined. Only when both requirements are fulfilled simultaneously will a candidate be declared as having passed the examination.
If a candidate fails to meet either of these criteria, they will be considered unsuccessful in the examination and will need to reappear in the next examination session. Therefore, it is crucial for aspirants to focus not only on their total marks but also on attaining the required minimum scores in every subject.
