CUET PG 2026 Correction Window Now Open
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially activated the application correction window for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programmes (CUET PG) 2026. Candidates who have already submitted their registration forms can now log in to make necessary changes to the details they provided earlier. This facility went live on 28 January 2026 and will remain accessible until 30 January 2026, up to 11:50 PM.
To proceed with any edits, applicants need to visit the official examination portal and access their registered accounts. The NTA has urged all candidates to complete their corrections well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or delays.
No Extensions After the Deadline
The agency has made it clear that no modification requests will be entertained after the closing date and time. Once the window shuts, the application forms will be considered final. If a correction involves an additional fee, candidates can pay it using credit or debit cards, net banking, or UPI. It is important to note that this correction opportunity is being offered only once. Candidates are therefore advised to review their forms carefully and make all necessary changes in a single attempt, as no further chances will be provided.
Fields Open for Modification
Applicants are allowed to update the following details during the correction period:
- Mobile phone number
- Email address
- Permanent and current residential address
- Photograph (uploading a new image)
- Signature (uploading a new image)
Fields That Cannot Be Changed
Certain details are locked and cannot be altered under any circumstances. These include:
- Candidate’s full name, father’s name, or mother’s name
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub-category or disability status
- Examination paper code
- Choice of examination city
- Identity details (for those who registered using a document other than Aadhaar)
Important Rules and Conditions for Corrections
During this window, candidates may also change their selected subjects, exam papers, programmes, or courses. However, if such a change results in a higher application fee, the difference must be paid before the correction is considered valid. No refunds will be issued for any reduction in the number of exam papers. The entire correction process is a one-time opportunity, and once the form is resubmitted, it will be locked and cannot be edited again.
Given the limited timeframe and the fact that no further revisions will be allowed, candidates are strongly encouraged to double-check every detail before final submission. Any mistake left uncorrected after the deadline will remain on the official record and may affect the application process.
