TEDxDBEDU 2026: A Day of Inspiration and Bold Ideas at Delhi University
Delhi University’s Department of Business Economics (DBE) played host to the third edition of TEDxDBEDU on Saturday, and the event proved to be a resounding success. This year’s theme, “Beyond the Visible,” challenged attendees to look past the surface and explore the hidden ideas, emotions, and truths that quietly shape our society and future.
The day-long gathering took place at the SP Jain Auditorium on the South Campus and offered a rich blend of thought-provoking talks and lively entertainment. From powerful speeches to energetic dance and musical performances, the schedule was designed to engage both the mind and the spirit. The atmosphere buzzed with curiosity as students and young professionals came together to hear from a diverse lineup of speakers.
Voices from Diverse Fields
The speaker roster brought together perspectives from a wide range of domains, including business, market analysis, geopolitics, personal development, and creativity. Each speaker shared personal stories and hard-earned lessons, encouraging the audience to embrace new ways of thinking, recognize hidden realities, and become agents of positive change.
One of the standout moments came from Ranveer Singh Saini, who spoke candidly about his journey through adversity. His central message was simple yet powerful: the only real limits we face are the ones we create in our own minds. His story of persistence resonated deeply with the young audience.
Tanya Vats offered a different kind of wisdom, urging listeners to be thoughtful and deliberate in what they choose to believe. In an age of information overload, her advice to question and reflect before accepting ideas struck a chord with many in the room.
Stories of Grit and Growth
Vanshika Jindal encouraged the youth to draw inspiration from those who have walked the path before them, emphasizing the value of learning from experienced mentors. Jayant Mudhada, on the other hand, shared his own pursuit of passion, recounting how chasing what he loved ultimately led him to success.
Dr. Shelja Gupta’s journey was nothing short of remarkable. She walked the audience through her transition from preparing for engineering entrance exams to building a career in dermatology and later venturing into content creation. Her story was a testament to the power of reinvention and following one’s evolving interests.
Aditya Poddar brought an entrepreneurial spark to the stage as he narrated the story behind building FitFest, a venture born out of determination and a clear vision. His account offered practical insights into what it takes to turn an idea into reality.
More Voices, One Message
The inspiration didn’t stop there. Speakers like Aman Nigam, Prachi Tehlan, Abhishek Singh, and Manveer Singh each took the stage to share their unique experiences and perspectives. While their backgrounds differed, their message was unified: pursue your dreams with courage, stay resilient in the face of challenges, and never underestimate your own potential.
TEDxDBEDU 2026 was more than just an event—it was a celebration of ideas and human spirit. By bringing together voices that challenge conventional thinking, the organizers created a space where young minds could expand their horizons and walk away with renewed purpose. The energy in the auditorium reflected a generation ready to look beyond what is visible and imagine what could be.
