A massive surge in traffic, as candidates from across the country attempted to submit their forms simultaneously, overwhelmed the system. Many applicants found themselves unable to complete the process, prompting the commission to intervene and extend the deadline.

933 Vacancies Available Through CSE 2026
The Civil Services Examination 2026 aims to fill a total of 933 positions across various central government departments. The commission had previously advised candidates to avoid waiting until the final day, warning that heavy server load could lead to technical disruptions. Despite this caution, the portal still faltered under the weight of last-minute submissions.
