Atul Maheshwari Scholarship 2025: Results Announced, Over 80% of Winners Come from Rural Areas
The much-awaited results of the Atul Maheshwari Scholarship Examination 2025 have been officially released. This year, 46 academically gifted students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds have been selected to receive financial support. These students hail from six different states and were chosen through a rigorous, multi-stage selection process.
The scholarship is designed to empower talented young learners who demonstrate exceptional academic promise despite facing financial hardships. By providing monetary assistance, the initiative aims to help these students pursue their educational goals without the burden of economic constraints.
Scholarship Amounts and Categories
The selected students have been divided into two distinct categories based on their current educational level. Students enrolled in classes 9 and 10 will receive a one-time scholarship of ₹50,000 each, while those studying in classes 11 and 12 have been awarded ₹75,000 each. In total, 23 students from the junior category and 23 from the senior category have been selected for this honor.
An official recognition ceremony is scheduled to take place in April, where each student will be felicitated along with their parents or guardians. The event is expected to be held in Noida or another suitable venue, keeping in mind the ongoing board examinations.
Selection Process and Statistics
From a pool of approximately 150,000 applicants, the final 46 scholars were selected through a comprehensive evaluation process. The selection journey began with a written examination conducted in November across 22 publication centers spanning six states. This was followed by personal interviews and thorough verification of all submitted documents.
Notably, more than 80 percent of the scholarship recipients come from rural backgrounds, highlighting the foundation’s commitment to reaching talented students in underserved areas. Region-wise distribution shows that Uttar Pradesh accounts for 28 of the selected students, with the remaining winners coming from Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and other states.

Important Terms and Conditions
While compiling the results, the selection committee exercised extreme caution to ensure accuracy. Despite multiple rounds of verification, some discrepancies in applicant information have occasionally surfaced. The foundation has made it clear that if any information provided by the 46 selected students is found to be false during future verification checks, their scholarship will be immediately revoked. This measure ensures that the awards reach only those who genuinely deserve and qualify for this prestigious recognition.
