MHT CET 2026: Registration Deadline Extended for BPEd, LLB, and BEd-MEd Courses

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has announced an extension of the application deadline for several courses under MHT CET 2026. Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), Bachelor of Laws (LLB – 3 year), and the integrated BEd-MEd (3 year) programs can now submit their applications until March 3, 2026.

This decision comes in response to numerous requests from aspirants who sought additional time to complete their registration process. The extension applies to admissions for the academic session 2026-27. However, officials have made it clear that this is the final extension, and no further deadline revisions will be considered.

How to Complete the Application Process

Eligible candidates who have not yet registered can visit the official CET Cell website to fill out and submit their application forms. The entire process is conducted online, and applicants are advised to complete their submissions well before the cutoff date to avoid any last-minute technical issues.

Courses with Extended Deadlines

The revised application timeline applies specifically to the following programs:

  • Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd)
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB – 3 year program)
  • BEd-MEd Integrated Course (3 year duration)

Examination Structure and Format

The CET Cell has also released details regarding the examination pattern for these programs. Each course follows a distinct evaluation format designed to assess candidates on relevant parameters.

BPEd CET 2026 Examination Details

The BPEd entrance test is structured in two phases. The first phase consists of a computer-based test (CBT) featuring multiple-choice questions, conducted at designated examination centers. The second phase involves a field assessment, which takes the form of an offline physical efficiency test (PET) to evaluate candidates’ physical capabilities and fitness levels.

LLB (3 Year) and BEd-MEd Examination Format

For both the LLB (3 year) and BEd-MEd programs, the entrance examination will be conducted in a single phase. The test will be administered in computer-based test (CBT) mode, allowing for efficient and standardized evaluation of all applicants.

Anticipated Examination Schedule

While the application window has been extended, the CET Cell has also provided tentative dates for the upcoming examinations. Candidates appearing for the BPEd and LLB (3 year) entrance tests can expect the computer-based examination to be held on April 4, 2026. As for the BEd-MEd integrated course, the examination date has not yet been officially announced and will be communicated at a later stage.

Additional Deadline Extensions for Nursing Programs

In a related development, the CET Cell has also extended the application deadlines for certain nursing-related entrance examinations. Candidates interested in these programs have until March 16, 2026, to submit their applications:

  • MH Nursing CET 2026
  • MH DPN/PHN CET 2026

The tentative examination dates for these nursing programs have been scheduled for May 6 and May 7, 2026.

Important Guidance for Applicants

Prospective candidates are strongly advised to thoroughly review the official information booklet before submitting their applications. It is essential to stay updated with the latest announcements and any changes to the examination schedule by regularly checking the official CET Cell website. Given that this extension represents the final opportunity to apply, all candidates are urged to complete their registration process within the revised timeline and ensure all required details are accurately provided. Missing this deadline will mean forfeiting the chance to appear for the entrance examinations in the current admission cycle.
