PM Modi Extends Congratulations to UPSC CSE 2025 Qualifiers

Following the announcement of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2025 results, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached out to congratulate the successful candidates. In his message, he acknowledged their remarkable achievement, attributing their success to sustained hard work, unwavering dedication, and patience. He extended his best wishes for their future endeavors as they embark on their careers in public service.

A Message of Encouragement for All Candidates

Taking to the social media platform X, the Prime Minister shared a heartfelt note praising the perseverance of the newly selected officers. He highlighted that their commitment and diligence have propelled them to this significant milestone. Expressing his confidence in their potential, he stated that these young individuals will serve the nation with integrity and fulfill the aspirations of the citizens.

Beyond celebrating the winners, PM Modi also addressed those who did not achieve the desired outcome this time. He offered words of reassurance, emphasizing that such moments, while challenging, are merely a single chapter in the larger journey of life. He urged the aspirants not to lose heart and to continue their preparations with renewed vigor for future opportunities.

Guidance for Aspirants Who Missed the Cut

In his encouraging address, the Prime Minister advised candidates who fell short of their goal to not view this as a final verdict. He reminded them that numerous avenues lie ahead, whether through upcoming examinations or alternative paths to serve the nation. He concluded his message by wishing all candidates the very best in their future pursuits.

Understanding the Civil Services Examination

The Civil Services Examination is conducted annually by the UPSC to select officers for the country’s premier administrative services. This rigorous process facilitates recruitment into various Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ services under the central government, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), the Indian Police Service (IPS), and the Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

The selection procedure is a comprehensive three-stage process designed to assess a candidate’s intellectual acumen and personality traits:

  • Preliminary Examination: An objective-type screening test.
  • Main Examination: A written examination comprising descriptive papers.
  • Personality Test (Interview): An assessment of the candidate’s suitability for a career in public service.

Following closely, Rajeshwari Suve M has clinched the second position, while Ekansh Dhul, a commerce graduate from Delhi University, has achieved the third rank.
