NEET UG 2026 Correction Window Now Open
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the correction window for candidates who submitted applications for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate programs (NEET UG 2026). Students who have already registered can now visit the official portal and make necessary adjustments to their submitted application forms.
According to the exam authority, applicants have until March 14, 2026, to complete any modifications. This editing facility can be used only once, so candidates are strongly advised to review and finalize all changes carefully before submitting them.
Exam Schedule and Format
As per the official timeline released by the NTA, the NEET UG 2026 examination is scheduled to take place on May 3, 2026. The test will be conducted in offline mode, using the traditional pen-and-paper format. The examination duration is fixed from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on the day of the test.
Fee-Related Guidelines
The testing agency has issued important clarifications regarding application fees during the correction period. Any modification made to the application form will only be considered valid after the payment of applicable additional charges. If the changes made by a candidate result in a higher application fee category, the difference must be paid to complete the correction process.
Conversely, the NTA has also stated that if a candidate has already paid more than the required amount, the excess fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Important Advice for Candidates
The NTA has urged all applicants to thoroughly verify every piece of information in their application forms before the correction window closes. Missing the deadline or making careless errors could lead to complications in the admission process, so timely and careful action is essential.
