NEET MDS 2026 Registration to Open Tomorrow: Fees, Dates, and Eligibility Details

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to commence the online application process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2026 starting March 14. Aspiring candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can submit their applications through the official board website, with the registration window opening at 3:00 PM on the first day.

Important Dates and Examination Schedule

According to the official timeline released by the examination authority, the deadline for submitting applications has been fixed for March 30, 2026, until 11:55 PM. The entrance examination itself is scheduled to take place on May 2, 2026, in a computer-based test (CBT) format. The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, spanning a duration of three hours. Candidates can expect the results to be announced on June 2, 2026.

Following the conclusion of the application period, the examining body will open a correction window, enabling candidates to make necessary amendments to their submitted application forms. This facility ensures that applicants can rectify any inadvertent errors before the final processing of applications.

Application Fee Structure

The registration fees for NEET MDS 2026 have been categorized based on the applicant’s reservation status. The fee breakdown is as follows:

  • General, OBC, and EWS category candidates: ₹3,500
  • SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category candidates: ₹2,500

Eligibility Criteria

Only those candidates who have obtained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from an institution recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) are eligible to apply for this examination. Additionally, applicants must possess either a provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by the DCI or any State Dental Council. It is also mandatory for candidates to complete their compulsory 12-month internship by May 31, 2026.
