According to official circulars released by CBSE, the examinations had already been deferred on five separate occasions prior to this final decision. The earlier postponements occurred on March 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 in 2026. With no improvement in the situation, the board has now opted for a complete cancellation rather than further delays.
