BSEB Class 12 Results 2026: Commerce Leads with 93.07% Pass Rate
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially released the Intermediate Annual Examination results for 2026. This year, the Commerce stream emerged as the top performer with an impressive pass percentage of 93.07%, surpassing both Science and Arts streams. According to the data shared by the board, 87.46% of students cleared the Science examinations, while the Arts stream recorded an 82.76% success rate. Female students once again demonstrated outstanding performance across all three streams, bringing pride to the state.
Results Announced for All Three Streams
The board published the outcomes for Arts, Science, and Commerce simultaneously around 1:40 PM today. Officials noted that the Commerce stream delivered the most remarkable results this year, with a significant number of students achieving first-division marks in both Science and Arts as well.
Science Stream: Strong Performance in Technical Education
A total of 6,14,710 candidates appeared for the Science stream examinations this year. This included 3,67,798 male students and 2,46,912 female students. The overall pass percentage for this stream stood at 87.46%, with 5,37,609 students successfully clearing the exams. Breaking down the results by division:
- First Division: 3,04,307 students
- Second Division: 2,27,694 students
- Third Division: 5,608 students
Arts Stream: Highest Number of Test Takers
The Arts stream attracted the largest number of candidates this year, with 6,61,610 students appearing for the examinations. Notably, female participation was significantly higher than male participation in this stream, with 4,14,791 girls compared to 2,46,819 boys. The overall pass percentage for Arts was recorded at 82.76%, with 5,47,537 students qualifying. The division-wise breakdown is as follows:
- First Division: 1,96,811 students
- Second Division: 2,75,455 students
- Third Division: 75,271 students
Commerce Stream: Record-Breaking Achievement
Commerce students set a new benchmark this year by achieving the highest pass percentage of 93.07% across all streams. A total of 27,721 candidates (18,509 boys and 9,212 girls) appeared for the examinations, of which 25,800 successfully passed. The division-wise results for Commerce are:
- First Division: 15,687 students
- Second Division: 8,568 students
- Third Division: 1,545 students
