RBSE Class 10 Results Announced: Girls Outperform Boys with 94.20% Pass Rate
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) officially released the Class 10 examination results on March 24, 2026. This year, the overall pass percentage has reached an impressive 94.23%, reflecting the continued academic progress of students across the state. The results were unveiled during a press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Ajmer, with State Education Minister Madan Dilawar in attendance.
In a notable trend that has persisted for several years, female students have once again outperformed their male counterparts. Girls achieved a pass rate of 94.20%, while boys recorded a slightly lower success rate of 93.63%. This consistent gender gap highlights the growing academic dedication among female students in Rajasthan.
Key Highlights of the RBSE Class 10 Results 2026
The announcement marks a significant milestone in the board’s history, as this is the first time the Class 10 results have been declared before the Class 12 results. Additionally, this is the earliest the board has ever published results, with the declaration coming in March rather than the usual timeline.
District-Wise Performance Overview
Performance varied considerably across different districts of Rajasthan. Jhunjhunu emerged as the top-performing district with an impressive pass rate of 97.77%, closely followed by Didwana Kuchaman at 97.59% and Sikar at 97.43%. Nagaur and Jodhpur also demonstrated strong results with pass percentages of 97.09% and 96.48% respectively.

Important Information for Students
Minimum Passing Criteria
To qualify for admission to the next level of education, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each individual subject as well as an overall aggregate of 33%. This requirement ensures that students have a foundational understanding across all subjects before advancing to higher classes.
Correction and Verification Process
Students are advised to carefully review their mark sheets upon receipt. In case of any discrepancies related to name spelling, roll number, or awarded marks, immediate contact with the respective school administration is essential. Schools will facilitate the correction process to ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
Major Policy Change: Supplementary Examinations Discontinued
In a significant policy shift announced alongside the results, Education Minister Madan Dilawar revealed that supplementary examinations for Class 10 will be discontinued starting from the 2026-27 academic session. Students who do not pass certain subjects in their first board examination will now have the opportunity to appear for a second board examination instead. This change aims to provide students with a better chance to improve their performance rather than being limited to a supplementary test.
This new approach is expected to benefit students who may have underperformed in their initial attempt, giving them additional time to prepare and potentially achieve better results. The second board examination will serve as an alternative pathway for students to clear their papers and progress in their academic journey.
How to Access Results
All candidates who appeared for the examination can access their results through the official RBSE website. Students are encouraged to keep their roll numbers and other necessary credentials handy while checking their scores online. The board has ensured that the result portal is accessible and user-friendly for all students across the state.
The release of the Class 10 results marks an important moment for thousands of students in Rajasthan who are now one step closer to their academic and career goals. With the overall pass percentage exceeding 94%, this year’s results reflect positively on the state’s educational system and the hard work of both students and teachers alike.
