Madhya Pradesh Board Declares Class 5 and 8 Annual Exam Results

The wait is finally over for millions of students across Madhya Pradesh. The state education authorities have officially released the annual examination results for both Class 5 and Class 8. This year, more than 23 lakh students had registered for these examinations, and their results are now available for viewing.

Students can access their scores through the official examination portals. To view the results, candidates will need to enter their roll number or their unique student identification code. Once the details are submitted, the result will appear on the screen, and students can download their mark sheets for future reference.

Examination Schedule and Format

The Class 5 examinations were conducted between February 20 and February 26, while the Class 8 examinations took place from February 20 to February 28. Both exams were held in the afternoon session, with a scheduled time from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

This year marked a significant milestone as both classes were assessed on a board examination pattern for the first time. The introduction of this format represents a shift in how student performance is evaluated at the primary and middle school levels in the state.

Class 8 Results Show Strong Performance

The overall pass percentage for Class 8 has been recorded at an impressive 93.83 percent. This outcome reflects positively on the state’s educational framework and the effectiveness of the new examination structure.

Notably, female students have outperformed their male counterparts in these examinations. The pass rate for girls stands at 94.98 percent, while boys have achieved a pass percentage of 92.74 percent. This gap in performance highlights the continued academic progress being made by girls across the state.

Class 5 Results Demonstrate Excellent Achievement

For Class 5, the overall success rate has been recorded at 95.14 percent. Students appearing for these examinations came from government schools, private institutions, and registered madrasas, reflecting the inclusive nature of the assessment.

Similar to the Class 8 results, female students have shown superior performance in Class 5 as well. The pass percentage for girls is 96.19 percent, compared to 94.15 percent for boys. These figures indicate that girls are consistently achieving better results even at the primary education level, which is a promising sign for the state’s educational landscape.

Passing Criteria and Mark Sheet Distribution

The minimum passing requirement for both Class 5 and Class 8 examinations remains unchanged at 33 percent. Students are required to secure at least this percentage in each individual subject to successfully pass the examinations. The board has not made any modifications to the passing criteria this year.

Physical copies of the mark sheets will also be distributed through the respective schools. Students are advised to verify their results only through official channels. In case of any discrepancies or errors noticed in the mark sheet, students should promptly contact their school administration for resolution.

Step-by-Step Guide to Check Results

Students who wish to check their results can follow these simple steps:

  • Navigate to the official result portal for the state education board
  • Look for the examination results section on the homepage
  • Enter the required credentials, such as roll number or student ID
  • Complete the security verification by entering the displayed code
  • Submit the information to view the result
  • Download and print a copy of the result for future reference

It is strongly recommended that students save both a physical printout and a digital copy of their result. This ensures that the mark sheet remains accessible for admission processes and other academic requirements that may arise in the future.

The release of these results brings closure to a period of anticipation for students and their families. With the new board pattern now successfully implemented, the coming years will likely see further refinements and improvements in the assessment process. The strong performance of students, particularly girls, sets a positive precedent for the state’s educational system and its commitment to academic excellence.
