CBSE Opens Applications for CTET 2026 OMR and Calculation Sheets

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated the application process for candidates who appeared in the CTET February 2026 examination to obtain copies of their OMR response sheets and calculation sheets. This facility allows aspirants to review their recorded answers and the marks computation details after paying the prescribed fee. Applications must reach the board by May 1, 2026, to be considered for this service.

Application Fee and Payment Procedure

Candidates seeking access to their OMR and calculation sheets are required to pay a fee of ₹500. The payment must be made through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of the CBSE Secretary, payable in New Delhi. This standardized payment method ensures uniformity and secure processing of all requests.

How to Submit the Application

Interested candidates need to prepare their application in the specified format and dispatch it to the designated address. The application can be sent via Speed Post or delivered in person to the following location:

CTET Unit, CBSE Integrated Office Complex, Sector-23, Phase-1, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110077

It is important to note that applications submitted through any other mode will not be entertained by the board.

Details Required in the Application

To ensure smooth processing, applicants must provide the following information in their request:

  • Full name of the candidate
  • Roll number
  • Complete postal address for correspondence

Any application found to be incomplete or lacking the required details will be rejected outright without further correspondence.

Important Update for RTI Applicants

CBSE has issued a clarification for candidates who had previously applied through the Right to Information (RTI) Act or any other channel. Such applicants are required to submit a fresh application under this new procedure. Previous requests will not be considered valid, and all candidates must follow the current process to receive their documents.

Key Guidelines to Keep in Mind

The board has laid down several important instructions regarding the distribution of OMR and calculation sheets:

  • The documents will be sent exclusively to the concerned candidate only
  • Information will not be shared with any institution or third party
  • Applications submitted by third parties will be rejected outright
  • No requests will be accepted after the stipulated deadline

Strict Deadline Enforcement

CBSE has made it unequivocally clear that any application received after May 1, 2026, will not be considered under any circumstances. The decision of the competent authority in this matter will be treated as final and binding on all applicants. Candidates are strongly advised to complete their submissions well before the cutoff date to avoid any last-minute complications.

This initiative by CBSE provides much-needed transparency to the evaluation process, enabling candidates to verify their responses and understand how their scores were calculated. It also serves as a valuable tool for those who may wish to seek re-evaluation or clarification regarding their performance in the examination.
