Demand Surges for Diploma and BTech Graduates at DSEU
The placement season for the 2025-26 academic session at Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) is shaping up to be remarkably promising. Students enrolled across various engineering diploma programs are receiving attractive annual salary packages ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹8 lakh, signaling a robust demand for skilled technical talent in the current job market.
Record-Breaking Offers for Diploma Holders
This year’s placement drive has set a new benchmark for diploma-level students. The highest offer extended to a diploma graduate stands at ₹8 lakh per annum, the most substantial package ever recorded for this category at the university. This milestone reflects the growing recognition of practical, skill-based education among employers.
In a notable development, Godrej has selected three BTech Mechanical students with packages exceeding ₹10 lakh annually. These successful candidates are expected to begin their professional journeys with their respective companies between June and July, following the conclusion of their examinations.
Expanding Corporate Participation in Campus Placements
University administrators report a significant increase in the number of reputed companies participating in campus recruitment this year. This expanded corporate engagement has substantially broadened the spectrum of opportunities available to students. Employers are increasingly prioritizing candidates with hands-on technical expertise and industry-relevant skills, which explains the competitive packages being offered even at the diploma level.
ThoughtWorks has extended ₹8 lakh packages to eight students pursuing computer and electrical diploma programs, marking the best-ever compensation for diploma candidates at DSEU. Interestingly, the same company had selected only two students during the previous academic year, demonstrating a remarkable expansion in their recruitment scope.
Automotive Sector Shows Strong Interest
Maruti Suzuki has emerged as a major recruiter this season, selecting 147 students across diploma programs in mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering. These candidates have been offered annual packages of ₹5 lakh each. The company’s increased hiring activity—up from 117 students in the previous placement cycle—underscores the growing confidence in DSEU’s academic programs and the quality of its graduates.
The upward trend in both the number of participating companies and the value of salary packages indicates a positive shift in the employment landscape for technical education graduates. As industries continue to evolve and embrace advanced technologies, the demand for skilled professionals from institutions like DSEU appears set to grow even further in the coming years.
