CUET PG 2026 Provisional Answer Key and Response Sheet Released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the provisional answer key for the CUET PG 2026 examination. Candidates who appeared for the test can now access and download their response sheets along with the answer key through the official examination portal. This release allows aspirants to calculate their expected scores before the final results are announced.

How to Access the Answer Key and Response Sheet

Students are advised to visit the official NTA website dedicated to the CUET PG examination. After logging in with their credentials, they can easily download both the provisional answer key and their individual response sheets. The process is straightforward and requires only the candidate’s application number and date of birth or password for authentication.

Examination Schedule and Details

The CUET PG 2026 was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode across 157 subjects. The examination spanned multiple days, taking place on March 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 27, 29, and 30, 2026. Now that the provisional answer key and question papers with recorded responses are available online, candidates can cross-verify their answers and estimate their probable scores.

Challenging the Answer Key

Candidates who disagree with any of the answers listed in the provisional key have the option to raise objections. The challenge window opens on April 11, 2026, and remains active until April 14, 2026. To submit a challenge, candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question.

Fee Payment and Submission Guidelines

The deadline for submitting the processing fee is April 14, 2026, until 10:00 AM. Payments can be made through various digital modes, including credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and UPI. It is important to note that challenges will only be accepted through the online portal, and no objections will be entertained without the successful payment of the required fee.

What Happens After Objections Are Submitted

Once the objection window closes, a panel of subject matter experts will review all submitted challenges. If any objection is found to be valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly, and the correction will benefit all candidates who attempted that particular question. The final answer key, prepared after this review process, will serve as the basis for computing results.

Candidates should note that individual notifications regarding the acceptance or rejection of their specific objections will not be sent. The revised final answer key released by the expert panel will be considered the authoritative version for result preparation. Therefore, all candidates are encouraged to review the provisional key carefully and submit any legitimate challenges within the specified timeframe.

For those who have been waiting to assess their performance, this is the ideal opportunity to calculate estimated scores and plan their next steps accordingly. The response sheet provides a clear picture of the answers marked during the examination, allowing for an accurate self-assessment before the official results are published.
