AIIMS NORCET 10 Stage-1 Results Announced
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has officially released the results for the first stage of the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-10). Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access their scores and status through the official examination portal. Those who have successfully cleared this initial phase will advance to the second stage of the selection process.
Examination Overview and Vacancy Details
The Stage-1 examination was conducted on 11 April 2026 across multiple designated test centers nationwide. This recruitment drive aims to fill more than 2,551 Group B Nursing Staff positions at AIIMS New Delhi, other AIIMS institutions, and various prestigious medical establishments throughout the country.
Stage-2 Qualification Statistics
A total of 97,149 candidates were initially shortlisted for the examination, of which 92,026 actually appeared for the test. Following the evaluation process, 51,451 candidates were declared qualified under the scheme. However, only 14,527 candidates have been selected to proceed to the Stage-2 examination, reflecting the competitive nature of this selection process.
Upcoming Stage-2 Examination Schedule
The second stage of the examination is scheduled to take place on 30 April 2026. Admit cards for the same will be made available on 27 April 2026. Additionally, candidates will be informed about their designated examination state and city seven days prior to the test date, specifically on 23 April 2026.
Category-Wise Cutoff Percentiles
Along with the results, the institute has published the category-specific cutoff percentiles. The unreserved category witnessed the highest cutoff this year, while separate and comparatively lower cutoffs have been established for candidates belonging to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category. The detailed breakdown is as follows:
- Unreserved (UR): General cutoff at 93.5887683 percentile, with PwBD cutoff at 45.5621237 percentile
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): General cutoff at 78.9831134 percentile, with PwBD cutoff at 49.6272792 percentile
- Other Backward Class (OBC): General cutoff at 84.2077239 percentile, with PwBD cutoff at 40.6645947 percentile
- Scheduled Caste (SC): General cutoff at 81.9605328 percentile, with PwBD cutoff at 35.7768456 percentile
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): General cutoff at 74.4746050 percentile, with PwBD cutoff at 39.8463477 percentile
