The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has officially released the results for both Class 10 and Class 12 examinations for the 2026 academic session. At the district level, Bageshwar emerged as the top-performing district with an outstanding pass rate of 94.81%.
Class 12 Toppers
Two students jointly claimed the top position in the Class 12 examinations. Geetika Pant from Saraswati Shishu Mandir Inter College in Bageshwar and Sushila Mehandiratta from Bhanjuram Amar Inter College in Bhurarani, US Nagar, both scored an impressive 490 out of 500 marks (98.00%).
Aaryan from SVM Inter College, Awas Vikas, Rishikesh (Dehradun) secured the second position with 489 marks (97.80%). Vanshika from Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Mayapur, Haridwar, claimed the third spot with 485 marks (97.00%).
Class 10 Results: Strong Performance Across the Board
The High School (Class 10) examinations saw an overall pass percentage of 82.10%. Female students delivered a stellar performance with a pass rate of 96.07%, while male students achieved a commendable 88.03% pass percentage.
The category-wise breakdown for Class 10 is as follows:
- Students passing with distinction: 7,935 (7.28%)
- Students securing First Division: 30,734 (28.20%)
- Students securing Second Division: 46,708 (42.86%)
- Students securing Third Division: 14,986 (13.75%)
Bageshwar district once again took the lead, recording the highest pass percentage of 96.98% across the state.
Class 10 Toppers
Akshat Gopal from MP Hindu Inter College, Ramnagar (Nainital), topped the Class 10 examinations with an outstanding 491 out of 500 marks (98.20%).
The second position was jointly secured by Ishant Kothari from SVM Inter College, Chinyalisaur (Uttarkashi), and Bhumika from GB Pant GIC Khairna (Nainital), who was also the top-performing female student. Both scored 490 marks (98.00%). Yogesh Joshi from Vivekanand VMIC Mandalsera (Bageshwar) finished third with 489 marks (97.80%).
