UBSE Class 12 Results 2026: What to Expect on Announcement Day

The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE), headquartered in Ramnagar, is set to release the Class 12 examination results today, April 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Students across the state have been eagerly awaiting this moment, and with the announcement just hours away, it is a fitting time to review how candidates performed in the previous academic year.

Understanding past performance can provide valuable context for what lies ahead. Let us take a closer look at the pass percentages from 2025, the achievements of top-ranking students, and how boys and girls fared in comparison to one another.

Exam Schedule and Candidate Numbers for 2026

The Intermediate examinations were conducted between February 21 and March 20, 2026. A total of 1,03,442 students registered for the board exams this year. Of these, 99,345 were institutional candidates, while 4,097 appeared as private or individual applicants.

Once the results are declared, students will be able to access their scorecards and download them directly from the official results portal. It is advisable for candidates to keep their roll numbers and other necessary credentials ready for a smooth experience.

Minimum Marks Required to Qualify

To successfully clear the UBSE Intermediate examination, candidates must secure a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject. Apart from written exam performance, the board also takes into account the attendance record of every candidate while determining final eligibility.

A Look Back at the 2025 Results

In the previous academic session, a total of 1,09,713 students were registered for the Class 12 board examination. This figure included 1,05,298 institutional candidates and 4,401 private examinees. To accommodate all test-takers, the board established 1,245 examination centers across the state, comprising 49 single-purpose and 1,196 mixed centers.

The overall pass percentage for 2025 stood at an impressive 83.23 percent. Female students outperformed their male counterparts by a noticeable margin, with girls recording a pass rate of 86.20 percent, while boys achieved 80.10 percent.

The top position in 2025 was secured by Anushka Rana from Dehradun, who scored an outstanding 98.60 percent.

Students are advised to visit the designated results page and select the Uttarakhand board option from the list of participating boards. After choosing the appropriate class, they will need to enter the required login details such as roll number and date of birth. Upon submission, the result will appear on screen, and students are encouraged to save a copy for future reference.
