Gujarat Board Declares Class 10 Results with Strong Pass Percentage

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially released the results for the Class 10 (SSC) examinations conducted in February and March 2026. Students who appeared for these exams can now access their scores online through the board’s official portal. The results cover both the standard SSC examinations as well as the Sanskrit Prathama board exams, with lakhs of students across the state awaiting their performance summaries.

Regular Students Achieve Impressive Success Rate

This year’s examination cycle witnessed substantial participation, with a total of 7,69,993 regular students registering for the board exams. Of these, 7,56,392 students actually appeared for the examinations, and 6,34,327 successfully cleared them, resulting in an impressive overall pass percentage of 83.86% for regular candidates.

The performance metrics for other student categories present a varied picture. Among the 70,934 repeat candidates, 67,404 took the exams, with 22,598 achieving passing marks—a pass rate of 33.53%. Additionally, under the Gujarat State Open School (GSOS) framework, 23,353 out of 25,313 registered students appeared for the examinations, and 6,590 of them passed, translating to a success rate of 28.22%.

Top and Bottom Performing Examination Centres

The Secondary School Leaving Examination was conducted across 1,006 designated examination centres throughout the state. Among these, the Ajol centre in Gandhinagar district emerged as the standout performer, achieving a perfect 100% pass rate. At the other end of the spectrum, the Munkhosla centre in Dahod district recorded the lowest success rate at 33.74%. The board has extended its congratulations to all successful candidates for their accomplishments.

Exam Integrity and Special Arrangements

Maintaining examination integrity remained a priority this year, with authorities recording five instances of irregularities during the test period. Following a thorough review of CCTV footage, 233 examinees were investigated, and appropriate disciplinary measures were implemented against those found violating examination protocols.

The board also ensured inclusive examination access for all candidates. Special examination centres were established within prisons in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Surat, accommodating 61 incarcerated individuals. Of these, 51 prisoners successfully appeared for their examinations. Furthermore, provisions were made for differently-abled students, including extended time allowances and scribe assistance. A total of 4,449 candidates with disabilities participated in the examinations, with 2,668 of them qualifying for certification.

Revaluation Process and Fee Structure

Following the results announcement, the state education board is preparing to release the official schedule and procedures for answer sheet revaluation. Students seeking a review of their marks will be able to submit applications through the board’s official web portal once the process commences.

The fee structure for revaluation has been clearly outlined: candidates can request re-evaluation of a single subject for a fee of 100 rupees, while a comprehensive revaluation covering all subjects is available for 500 rupees. The entire application process will be conducted exclusively through online methods, ensuring transparency and convenience for all applicants.
