HPBOSE Class 10 Results 2026: Kangra Student Tops with 699 Marks
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has officially released the Class 10 examination results for 2026. Students who appeared for the exams can now access their scorecards through the board’s official channels. Board Chairman Announces Results
Board Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma confirmed that a total of 93,694 students registered for the examinations this year. Of these, 83.87 percent successfully cleared the exams, marking a steady performance across the state’s schools.
Anmol Secures First Position
Girl students have once again demonstrated exceptional academic prowess this year. Anmol, a student from A.V.M Senior Secondary School in Pahra, Kangra district, clinched the top spot with an impressive 699 marks out of a possible 700, achieving a remarkable 99.86 percent score.
Three Students Share Second Rank
The second position was jointly secured by three talented students, each scoring 698 marks. Abhinav Mehta from Government Senior Secondary School, Rapoh Missran in Una district, alongside Purnima Sharma from Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Bilaspur, and Roohani Dhiman from the same school in Rapoh Missran, Una, all achieved this impressive feat with a 99.71 percent score.
Girls Dominate Third and Fourth Positions
The third rank was shared by two students who scored 697 marks each. Ashwika Sharma from Neelam Public Senior Secondary School in Bihru (Bijhri) and Alisha Thakur from Oxford School in Kotli both earned this distinction with 99.57 percent. Following closely, the fourth position was claimed by Shruti from Dhruv Adarsh Vidyalaya in Chiyachi, Solan, and Asmita Sharma from Kid Buds Public Senior Secondary School in Panga (Bijhri), each scoring 696 marks with a 99.43 percent aggregate.

According to the official data released by the board, a total of 78,150 students have successfully passed the examination. Meanwhile, 8,433 students have been placed in the compartment category, allowing them to improve their scores in specific subjects. Unfortunately, 6,559 students were unable to clear the exams this year.
Examination Schedule and Evaluation Process
The Class 10 examinations were conducted from March 3 to March 29, 2026, across various examination centers in the state. To ensure fair and efficient evaluation, the board established 41 dedicated assessment centers where approximately 5,000 teachers were deployed for the grading process.
