JEE Advanced 2026 Question Papers Released by IIT Roorkee

IIT Roorkee has officially released the JEE Advanced 2026 question papers for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 on its designated platform. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access and download the PDF versions of both papers directly from the official website without needing to log in or provide any credentials. The papers have been made available to help students review their performance and assess the difficulty level of the questions.

Exam Schedule and Participation

The JEE Advanced 2026 examination was conducted on 17 May 2026 in two separate shifts. Paper 1 was held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while Paper 2 took place from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Thousands of aspiring engineering students from across the country participated in this highly competitive entrance test, which serves as a gateway to admission into the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology.

Paper 1 Analysis: Student Feedback and Difficulty Level

Based on feedback from test-takers and subject experts, the Mathematics section of Paper 1 emerged as the most challenging and time-consuming part of the examination. Many questions required extended problem-solving time and demanded a strong grasp of complex mathematical concepts. The Physics section tested candidates on their conceptual understanding, requiring them to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. Meanwhile, the Chemistry section was also perceived as demanding, with several students describing the questions as tricky and requiring careful attention to detail.

Paper 2 Analysis: Conceptual Challenges and Time Management

Paper 2 was similarly rated as difficult by candidates, with a strong emphasis on conceptual clarity and analytical reasoning. Time management proved to be a significant hurdle for many students throughout this paper. The Mathematics section once again stood out as the most difficult, featuring questions that demanded sharp analytical thinking, precise calculations, and a high degree of accuracy. Candidates found that success in this section depended heavily on their ability to think critically under pressure and maintain precision throughout the exam.
