NTA Releases Revised Admit Cards for Postponed CUET UG 2026 Exams
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued updated hall tickets for candidates affected by the recent schedule changes in the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate programmes. Students whose exam dates were revised can now access their new admit cards through the official CUET portal.
The agency had previously announced the postponement of the May 28 examinations, which were scheduled across two shifts. The decision came after a shift in the date of Eid-ul-Adha, prompting the need for a revised examination calendar.
New Examination Schedule
Under the updated timeline, the postponed examination will now take place in two distinct phases. The first phase is scheduled for May 31, 2026, and admit cards for this session have already been made available to candidates. The second phase will be conducted on June 6 and June 7, 2026, with hall tickets for these dates expected to be uploaded on the portal shortly.
This revised arrangement ensures that all affected students can appear for their examinations without further disruption, while maintaining adequate gap between test sessions for proper preparation.
Exam Reach and Candidate Statistics
The CUET UG 2026 examination cycle commenced on May 11 and will continue through the first week of June. The tests are being conducted across numerous cities within the country as well as at select international examination centres, catering to a diverse pool of applicants.
This year, approximately 15.68 lakh students have registered for the entrance test. Candidates were permitted to select up to five subjects, leading to the organisation of roughly 67.5 lakh test sessions across nearly 12,906 unique subject combinations. This extensive arrangement reflects the scale and complexity of the examination process.
Steps to Download the Revised Admit Card
Candidates who need to obtain their updated hall ticket can follow a straightforward process on the official examination website. The procedure requires basic login credentials and takes only a few minutes to complete.

Candidates are strongly advised to verify all details printed on the admit card, including personal information, exam centre location, and scheduled timings. Any discrepancies should be reported to the examination authorities immediately to avoid complications on the day of the test.
It is also recommended that students familiarise themselves with the exam centre location in advance and plan their travel accordingly. Carrying a valid photo identification along with the admit card is mandatory for entry into the examination hall.
The NTA continues to provide updates through official channels, and candidates are encouraged to regularly check the portal for any further announcements regarding the examination schedule or additional instructions.
