UGC NET June 2026 City Intimation Slip Released

The National Testing Agency has officially released the city intimation slip for the UGC NET June 2026 examination session. This important document allows registered candidates to determine the city where their examination centre will be located, enabling them to plan their travel and accommodation well in advance. The examination is scheduled to commence on 22 June 2026.

How to Access Your City Intimation Slip

Candidates who have successfully registered for the examination can download their city intimation slip by visiting the official NTA website. To access the slip, applicants will need to enter their application number and date of birth on the login page. Once downloaded, the slip will clearly indicate the city where the candidate’s examination centre has been allocated.

It is essential to understand that the city intimation slip differs from the admit card. While the city slip only provides information about the examination city, the complete address of the examination centre will be mentioned on the admit card. According to the testing agency, admit cards are expected to be released three to four days before the commencement of the examination.

Examination Schedule and Subjects

The UGC NET June session will be conducted across the country for 87 different subjects. Candidates should note the following examination dates:

  • 22 June 2026
  • 23 June 2026
  • 24 June 2026
  • 25 June 2026
  • 29 June 2026
  • 30 June 2026

The examination will be held in multiple shifts across these days, and candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for any updates regarding their specific schedule and shift timing.

Assistance for Technical Issues

In case candidates encounter any difficulties while downloading their city intimation slip, the testing agency has established a dedicated helpline for support. Candidates can reach out to the NTA helpline for assistance with any technical problems or queries related to the city slip. Support is also available through email for those who prefer written communication.

Step-by-Step Guide to Download the City Slip

To download the UGC NET city intimation slip, candidates should follow these simple steps:

Candidates are strongly advised to save multiple copies of their city intimation slip and also store a digital version on their mobile devices. This ensures that the information remains accessible even if the original copy is misplaced. Additionally, candidates should verify all details mentioned on the slip carefully and report any discrepancies to the testing agency immediately.

As the examination dates approach, candidates are encouraged to stay updated with official announcements regarding admit card release and any last-minute changes.
