DU SOL Admission 2026: Applications Open from June 17 for Foreign Language, MBA, and Professional Programs

The School of Open Learning (SOL) at the University of Delhi has announced the commencement of the admission process for a range of professional and foreign language courses. Prospective students can begin submitting their applications online starting June 17, 2026, marking the start of the enrollment cycle for the upcoming academic session.

Through the Campus of Open Learning (COL), the university is offering admission into multiple career-oriented programs and language courses. These include one-year certificate and diploma programs in eight international languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. The courses will be conducted in collaboration with the respective language departments of the University of Delhi, ensuring academic rigor and expert instruction.

Online Learning Expansion for Language Programs

Professor Payal Mago, Director of COL, has indicated that these language courses will soon be available in an online format as well. The move is aimed at broadening access to language education, allowing students from across the country to enroll and study remotely. This initiative is expected to enable learners to acquire valuable foreign language skills and professional competencies without the need to be physically present on campus.

New Russian Language Courses Introduced

In addition to the existing language offerings, the Open Learning Development Centre (OLDC) is set to launch one-year certificate and diploma programs in Russian. These new courses will be run in association with the Department of Slavonic and Finno-Ugrian Studies at the university. Students will have the flexibility to pursue these programs through both classroom-based instruction and online modes, providing greater convenience for learners nationwide.

Admissions for several prominent professional programs will also open on June 17, 2026. These include the Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc), Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLISc), and the Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Digital Media Leadership (PGDADLM). These programs will be offered through the Department of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE), SOL, and COL.

According to university officials, these courses are designed to provide both students and working professionals with flexible learning opportunities to advance their education and careers. Candidates interested in applying can visit the official admission portal to access detailed information about eligibility criteria, application procedures, and program structures.
