NIOS Class 10 Results Announced: Pass Percentage Stands at 66.92%

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has officially released the results for the Secondary (Class 10) examinations conducted in April-May 2026. Students who appeared for the tests can now access their scorecards through the official results portal. This year, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 66.92%.

The digital scorecard, available online, provides comprehensive details including the candidate’s name, enrollment number, subject-wise marks, total obtained marks, and the overall pass or fail status. Candidates are advised to carefully review all the information displayed on their results.

Registration and Examination Statistics

A total of 1,15,414 students registered for the examinations across various centres in India and abroad. Of these, 1,02,558 candidates actually appeared for the tests. Students who sat for the exams can check their results by visiting the official NIOS results website and entering their enrollment number along with the security code displayed on screen.

Gender-Wise Performance Breakdown

The results show varying pass percentages across different gender categories. The detailed performance analysis is presented below:

  • Female candidates: 46,269 registered, 41,753 appeared, and 64.93% achieved certification
  • Male candidates: 69,064 registered, 60,741 appeared, and 66.16% achieved certification
  • Transgender candidates: 81 registered, 64 appeared, and 55.56% achieved certification

In total, 1,11,621 candidates were registered for course certification, and the overall certification rate stood at 66.92%.

Re-evaluation and Correction Window

According to the board’s official notification, students who are not satisfied with their obtained marks in the NIOS Class 10 examinations can apply for re-evaluation until June 29. It is strongly recommended that all candidates thoroughly verify their scorecards for any discrepancies.

If students notice any errors in their name, personal details, or marks, they should promptly contact NIOS authorities or their respective study centres to have the issues addressed. Timely action is essential to ensure that any corrections are processed before the deadline.

Steps to Download the Scorecard

Candidates can follow these simple steps to access and download their results:

First, navigate to the official NIOS results website. Once there, locate and click on the link labelled for the April/May Secondary (Class 10) Result 2026 on the homepage. Enter your enrollment number in the designated field and click the submit button. Your result and scorecard will then appear on the screen.

After reviewing your marks, it is advisable to download or print the marksheet for future reference and documentation purposes. Keeping a physical or digital copy of the scorecard is important for admission processes, scholarship applications, and other academic or professional requirements.
