Delhi University Introduces Strict Anti-Ragging Measures
Delhi University has issued a new directive signaling a zero-tolerance approach to ragging on its campuses. Under the updated guidelines, accountability extends beyond the students directly involved in such incidents. College directors and heads of departments (HODs) will now face penalties if ragging occurs within their respective institutions or departments, particularly when negligence on their part is established.
The move is designed to enforce a stronger sense of responsibility among senior administrative staff, ensuring that proactive measures are taken to prevent ragging and to foster a safer environment for all students. ABVP to Assist Students with Admission Process
As the academic session 2026-27 begins, Delhi University has already launched its undergraduate admission cycle. With thousands of applicants from across the country expected to apply, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has stepped forward to offer guidance and support to prospective students. The student organization has set up dedicated helpline numbers to assist candidates through the various stages of the admission process.
