DU UG CSAS 2026: Complete Schedule for Round Two Released
The University of Delhi has officially announced the detailed timeline for the second phase of undergraduate admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS UG) for the 2026-27 academic session. This year, the university will be offering admissions across 73 undergraduate courses and 150 combinations within the BA Programme, making it essential for candidates to stay updated on every important date and procedure.
Phase 2 Registration Window
Prospective students can complete their Phase 2 registration and submit their college and course preferences until July 11. During this period, candidates are allowed to select as many program and college combinations as they are eligible for. The university has emphasized that the order of preferences plays a critical role in seat allocation, so applicants must carefully arrange their choices based on their genuine interest and priority.
Subject Mapping Between CUET and Class 12
In a reminder issued alongside the schedule, the university reiterated that candidates must have appeared for CUET UG 2026 in the same subjects they studied and passed in Class 12. During Phase 2, applicants will be required to complete subject mapping, ensuring that their language and domain subjects correspond accurately with what they studied at the senior secondary level. This step is crucial for eligibility verification and cannot be overlooked.
Flexibility in Editing Preferences
Students will have the option to reorder their preferences using the Top, Bottom, and Preference Number features available in the CSAS portal. Until the final deadline, candidates can make unlimited changes to their preference list. However, it is mandatory to press the Save button after every modification. Once the deadline passes, all saved preferences will be locked automatically, and seat allocation will proceed strictly based on the final saved order.
After receiving a seat allotment, candidates will also be presented with an Upgrade or Freeze choice. Selecting Upgrade allows students to revise their higher-priority preferences for consideration in subsequent rounds, while Freeze confirms their acceptance of the allocated seat.

Important Guidance for Candidates
The university has advised all applicants to exercise extreme caution while filling out their preference order for colleges and courses. Before the deadline approaches, candidates should preview their saved preferences to confirm that the sequence reflects their true priorities. Since the system automatically locks all choices once the window closes, there will be no opportunity for further modifications. Seat allotment will be carried out exclusively on the basis of the locked preferences, making it imperative for students to review their selections thoroughly and in advance.
Candidates are encouraged to keep track of all dates and complete their registration and preference submission well ahead of the final deadline to avoid any last-minute technical issues. Staying organized and attentive throughout this process will help ensure a smooth and successful admission experience.
