GSHSEB Declares HSC Science Supplementary Exam Results
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), based in Gandhinagar, has officially released the results for the HSC Science stream supplementary examinations for 2026. This examination was conducted for students who were unable to clear the main board exams held in February-March 2026, offering them a second opportunity to improve their scores and secure a passing grade.
Overall Pass Percentage and Candidate Statistics
According to the data released by the board, a total of 18,549 candidates registered for the supplementary examination. However, only 16,120 students actually appeared for the tests. Of those who sat for the exams, 4,411 managed to clear the papers, bringing the overall pass percentage to 27.36 percent.

Group-Wise Performance Breakdown
The science stream is divided into three distinct groups, and the results varied significantly across them. Group A delivered the strongest performance among all categories, recording a pass percentage of 32.29 percent. Group B followed with a pass rate of 25.85 percent, while Group AB, which had a very small number of candidates, saw just 14.29 percent of its students succeed.
- Group A: 4,210 registered, 3,806 appeared, 1,229 passed (32.29%)
- Group B: 14,324 registered, 12,300 appeared, 3,180 passed (25.85%)
- Group AB: 15 registered, 14 appeared, 2 passed (14.29%)
Female Students Continue to Outperform
Consistent with previous years, female students once again outperformed their male counterparts across most categories. In Group A, girls achieved a pass percentage of 35.46 percent compared to 31.39 percent for boys. The gap was even more pronounced in Group B, where female candidates recorded a 28.50 percent success rate, while boys managed only 22.42 percent. In Group AB, the only two successful candidates were male, while all four female students who appeared in this category were unable to clear the examination.

- Download the marksheet and take a printout for future reference
The original marksheet will be distributed through the respective schools at a later date. Students are advised to keep their downloaded copies safe until then and to contact their institutions if they notice any discrepancies in the published results.
