ASTU CEE 2026 Provisional Answer Key Now Available

The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) is set to release the provisional answer key for the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 today, June 14. Candidates who appeared for the test will be able to access the document through the university’s official portal starting at 6 PM. This initial release allows applicants to cross-check their responses before the final version is published.

The entrance test was conducted across multiple centers in the state, with the examination window running from 11 AM to 2 PM. Following the release of the provisional key, students can compare their marked answers in the OMR sheets against the correct responses for subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Challenge Window and Final Results

ASTU has established a clear timeline for objections to the provisional answer key. Candidates may submit challenges until June 16 at 6 PM. Any objections raised after this deadline will not be entertained under any circumstances. The university has emphasized that no modifications will be accepted once the challenge period concludes.

Final results will be prepared based on the approved final answer key. The university’s decision regarding any submitted challenges will be considered final, and no further appeals will be permitted after the final key is published on the website.

Objection Fees and Payment Guidelines

To file a challenge, candidates must use the dedicated CEE-2026 login portal available on the official website. A processing fee of 500 rupees per question applies. This amount will be refunded if the submitted challenge is found to be valid and the answer is corrected.

It is important to note that if a candidate pays less than the required fee, the objection will be automatically dismissed without any refund. Challenges will only be reviewed after the complete fee has been successfully deposited. Candidates should ensure accurate payment to avoid losing their objection rights.

Step-by-Step Process to Submit an Objection

Applicants who wish to contest any answer in the provisional key should follow the procedure outlined below. The entire process is conducted online, and candidates must retain their transaction receipt for future reference.

  • Visit the official ASTU website using your preferred browser.
  • Locate and select the “CEE-2026 Login Portal” option on the homepage.
  • Enter your application number and password or other login credentials to access your account.
  • Once logged in, navigate to the “Answer Key/Objection” section from the available menu.
  • Choose the specific question you wish to challenge and upload supporting evidence or a clear explanation justifying your claim.
  • Complete the online payment of 500 rupees for each question being challenged.
  • Verify all entered information for accuracy before submitting the final objection form.
  • Save or print the receipt generated after successful submission for your records.

Candidates are advised to keep their login details and application information readily available before beginning the objection process. The university will only accept challenges submitted through the official portal, and any objections sent through other channels will not be considered.

Students should monitor the official website regularly for updates regarding the final answer key and subsequent result announcements. It is recommended to complete the objection process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or server congestion.
