CBSE Partners with Intel for Python Bootcamp
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to launch a specialized programming bootcamp designed to equip students with practical Python and coding skills. Scheduled across January and February, this initiative targets learners currently studying Artificial Intelligence in grades 9 and 10, offering them a structured environment to develop essential technical competencies.
In a strategic move, CBSE has joined forces with Intel, a global leader in central processing unit (CPU) manufacturing, to deliver this training program. This collaboration underscores the board’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry-relevant technological expertise.
Program Structure and Schedule
The bootcamp will unfold in two distinct phases. The primary training sessions are slated to run from January 12 to January 28, during which approximately 120 to 150 students will have the opportunity to participate. Following this intensive learning period, a dedicated mentoring session has been organized from February 2 to February 4, allowing students to deepen their understanding of both Python programming and broader coding principles.
One of the most notable aspects of this initiative is its accessibility. All sessions will be conducted in a virtual format, ensuring that students can join from their respective schools or homes without any geographical constraints.
