Exceptional Performances Across Subjects
A significant number of candidates demonstrated outstanding academic prowess in this year’s examination. Notably, one candidate achieved a perfect 100 percentile in four subjects. Furthermore, 22 students secured a flawless 100 percentile across three subjects. The results also indicate that 180 candidates managed to achieve a perfect score in two subjects, while a substantial 3,214 students attained a 100 percentile in at least one subject.
The highest aggregate NTA score recorded this year across five subjects was 1232.19. In specific disciplines such as Accountancy, History, Psychology, and Odia, numerous candidates achieved perfect or near-perfect scores of up to 250, highlighting their exceptional subject matter expertise.
Over 11.64 Lakh Candidates Appear for the Exam
The scale of CUET UG 2026 was substantial, with a total of 15,68,867 students registering for the test. From this pool, 11,64,098 candidates ultimately appeared for the examination. This year’s figures reflect a notable growth of over 15 percent in registered candidates compared to the previous cycle.
Additionally, the participation of female candidates saw a significant surge of approximately 20 percent. This positive trend has contributed to narrowing the gender gap between male and female test-takers, marking a progressive shift in the examination’s demographic landscape.
