DASA UG and CSAB Special Round 2026: Complete Counselling Schedule Announced
The JEE Apex Board has officially released the detailed counselling schedule for DASA UG 2026 and CSAB Special Round 2026. Candidates can now access the full timeline through the official portal. According to the announced schedule, registration and choice filling for both DASA UG and CSAB Special Round will commence on 28 July 2026.
Following the seat allocation process, candidates will be required to complete physical reporting and admission formalities at their allotted institutions between 13 August and 18 August 2026. During this period, candidates must report to their assigned institute and pay the remaining institutional fees to confirm their admission.
Understanding DASA UG 2026
DASA, which stands for Direct Admission of Students Abroad, is an admission pathway designed specifically for foreign nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf countries (CIWG). Through this process, eligible candidates gain admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered at NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutions across India.
Admission under the DASA scheme is primarily determined based on JEE Main ranks and fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria. This route provides an accessible opportunity for eligible international and NRI students to pursue engineering education at premier technical institutes in India.
