Goa Board Declares HSSC 2026 Results: 92.9% Pass Rate, Verification and Supplementary Exam Details Announced
The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has officially released the results for the Class 12 Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examinations for 2026. Of the 888 specially-abled candidates who took the examination, an impressive 850 emerged successful, achieving a stellar pass percentage of 95.72%. Marks Verification Process: Key Dates and Fees
For students who wish to have their answer scripts reviewed, the board will activate the verification portal starting 27 March 2026. It is important to note that applications cannot be submitted directly by students; they must be routed through their respective schools. The fee structure for various verification services is as follows:
- Photocopy of answer script (per subject): ₹350
- Re-evaluation of answer script: ₹700
- Absentee verification: ₹100
The deadline for submitting photocopy requests is 1 April 2026. For all other verification-related requests, students must ensure their applications are submitted by 8 April 2026.
Supplementary Examination Schedule
The board has also made provisions for students who fall under the “Needs Improvement” category, those who were absent from certain papers, or individuals wishing to enhance their scores. A supplementary examination will be conducted for these candidates, tentatively scheduled for 27 April 2026.
Looking Ahead: HSSC 2027 Examination Dates
In an early announcement, the Goa Board has indicated that the annual HSSC examinations for the 2027 session are likely to commence from 11 February 2027. This early notice gives students ample time to prepare for the upcoming academic cycle.
