GUJCET 2026 Provisional Answer Key Released by GSEB

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially released the provisional answer key for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access and download the answer key from the board’s official website. The answer key has been made available for all question paper sets, and no login credentials are required to view or download it.

Subjects Covered in the Answer Key

The GUJCET 2026 provisional answer key covers all four core subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. To ensure accessibility for all candidates, the answer key has been published in three languages — Gujarati, Hindi, and English. This multilingual approach allows students from different educational backgrounds to easily compare their responses with the official answers.

Deadline for Raising Objections

Candidates who find discrepancies or errors in the provisional answer key have the opportunity to challenge it through the official objection process. The last date to submit objections is April 8, 2026, until 6:00 PM. The board has clearly stated that no objections will be entertained after this deadline under any circumstances. Candidates are strongly advised to complete the process well before the cutoff time to avoid last-minute technical issues.

Objection Fee and Refund Policy

To raise an objection against any question in the answer key, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹500 per question. Objections submitted without the applicable fee will not be considered valid. However, if a candidate’s challenge is found to be legitimate and the answer is revised accordingly, the fee paid for that specific question will be refunded in full.

Step-by-Step Process to Submit an Objection

Candidates wishing to challenge any answer in the provisional key must follow the prescribed procedure carefully. The process involves several steps that must be completed within the given timeline:

  • Fill out a separate objection form for each question being challenged.
  • Download the objection form along with the provisional answer key from the official website.
  • Attach all relevant supporting documents and evidence to substantiate the objection.
  • Pay the ₹500 fee per question using an SBI challan.
  • Email the completed form along with all supporting documents and payment details to the designated address.

The board has emphasized that candidates must ensure all required documents and fees are submitted together within the stipulated timeframe. Incomplete submissions or those missing the required fee will be automatically rejected. Candidates are encouraged to review their answers thoroughly against the provisional key and act promptly if they identify any genuine errors.

Once the objection window closes, the board will review all valid submissions and release the final answer key. The final key will be used for computing scores and determining merit rankings for admission to engineering and pharmacy programs across Gujarat.
