Haryana Board Declares Class 10 Results: Charkhi Dadri Leads, Nuh Trails

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has officially released the Class 10 examination results on its official platform. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 89.6 percent, marking the lowest achievement in the past three years. The announcement has drawn mixed reactions from students and educators alike, as expectations were higher compared to previous academic cycles.

Students can now access their scorecards and mark sheets by visiting the board’s official website and navigating to the results section on the homepage. The online portal requires candidates to enter their roll number and date of birth to view their performance. Additionally, results are accessible through the DigiLocker application and SMS-based services for added convenience.

Detailed Performance Breakdown

According to board chairman Dr. Pawan Kumar, the pass rate for regular secondary (academic) candidates reached 89.60 percent, while self-study candidates recorded a pass percentage of 70.02 percent. A total of 2,76,640 regular students appeared for the examinations, out of which 2,47,860 successfully cleared the tests. Furthermore, 6,201 candidates received an essential repeat status, meaning they will need to reappear for the examinations in the next cycle.

Top Achievers and Merit List

The board has announced the results, and a total of 16 candidates have secured positions within the top three ranks, demonstrating exceptional academic performance across the state. The merit list showcases the dedication and hard work of these students who have excelled in their examinations.

District-Wise Performance Analysis

Among the districts, Charkhi Dadri has emerged as the top performer with the highest pass percentage, while Nuh district finds itself at the lowest position on the performance ladder. This district-wise variation highlights the disparities in educational outcomes across different regions of the state, prompting discussions about targeted interventions and resource allocation.

Previous Year Comparison

Looking at the previous year’s statistics, government schools recorded a pass percentage of 89.30 percent, whereas private institutions achieved a notably higher rate of 96.28 percent. Students from rural areas posted a pass percentage of 92.35 percent, while their urban counterparts achieved 92.83 percent.

Regular candidates demonstrated a pass rate of 92.49 percent in the prior academic year, compared to 73.08 percent for self-study candidates. The open school crash category recorded a pass percentage of just 15.79 percent, while re-appear candidates achieved 70.23 percent.

Last year’s examination saw four students share the top position, each scoring an impressive 497 marks out of 500. Rohit from Hisar, Mahi from Ambala, and Roma and Tania from Jhajjar all achieved this remarkable feat, setting a benchmark for future aspirants.

Gender-Based Performance Insights

In the previous academic session, a total of 2,71,499 candidates appeared for the examinations, with results declared for 2,51,110 students. Among these, 2,42,250 candidates successfully passed. Female students outperformed their male counterparts with a pass percentage of 94.06 percent, compared to 91.07 percent for male students. The performance gap of 2.99 percent highlights the continued academic excellence demonstrated by female candidates in the state.

How to Access Results

Students can follow a straightforward process to view and download their results:

  • Visit the official BSEH website
  • Locate and click on the Class 10 result link on the homepage
  • Enter the required login credentials including roll number
  • Complete the captcha verification and submit the information

Following these steps will display the result on screen, which students can then download and print for future reference. The board has also made provisions for accessing results through alternative channels to ensure all students can easily obtain their scorecards without technical difficulties.

Examination Schedule and Context

The Class 10 board examinations were conducted from February 26 to March 20, 2026. With the Class 12 results already announced earlier, the release of the Class 10 outcomes marks the completion of the board examination cycle for the current academic year. Alongside the primary results, the board has also published comprehensive details including overall pass percentages, gender-based performance data, district-wise toppers, merit lists, and compartment examination information.

The release of results brings closure to months of anticipation for students across the state. While the overall pass percentage has dipped compared to recent years, the performance of top-ranking students and the continued success of female candidates provide positive takeaways. Educational authorities are likely to analyze the district-wise variations and other statistical data to identify areas requiring additional support and resources in future academic sessions.
