HTET 2026 Admit Cards Released: Exam Dates and Key Guidelines for Candidates

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has officially released the admit cards for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026. Candidates who have successfully registered for the examination can now download their hall tickets from the official portal using their registration credentials. Carrying the admit card to the exam center is mandatory for all candidates.

Understanding the HTET Examination

The HTET serves as a qualifying assessment for individuals aiming to secure teaching positions in government schools across Haryana. The examination is structured across three distinct levels, each catering to a specific teaching role. Level 1 is designed for Primary Teachers (PRT), Level 2 for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Level 3 for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT). This year, the HTET 2026 examination is scheduled to take place on July 4 and July 5, 2026.

Downloading the Hall Ticket

Candidates are advised to visit the official BSEH website to access their admit cards. The download process requires the candidate’s registration number and other necessary details. Once downloaded, candidates should thoroughly verify all the information printed on the hall ticket, including their name, roll number, examination level, test date, reporting time, and the assigned exam center. Any discrepancies should be reported to the board authorities immediately.

Important Instructions for Exam Day

To ensure a smooth and hassle-free examination experience, candidates must adhere to a set of important guidelines issued by the board. These instructions are designed to maintain the integrity of the examination process and ensure that all candidates have an equal opportunity to perform well.

Mandatory Documents

Along with the admit card, candidates are required to carry a valid photo identification document. This must be the same ID proof that was used during the application process. The original ID must be presented at the exam center for verification purposes; photocopies will not be accepted.

Reporting Time and Verification Process

Candidates should plan to arrive at their designated exam center well in advance. It is recommended to reach the venue approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the examination. This early arrival allows sufficient time for essential formalities, including biometric verification, thumbprint data capture, and other security checks. Reaching late may result in being denied entry to the examination hall.

Facility for Candidates with Disabilities

The board has made special provisions for candidates with certain disabilities. This includes individuals who are visually impaired, those with a disability of 40 percent or more, and candidates who are unable to write due to a physical condition. These candidates are eligible to avail the services of a scribe to assist them during the examination.

There are specific protocols for arranging a scribe. Candidates have the option to bring their own scribe or request one to be provided by the board. Those who choose to bring their own scribe must ensure that the scribe’s educational qualifications do not exceed the 12th-grade level. For candidates requesting a scribe from the board, an application must be submitted at least four days prior to the examination date. Additionally, they must contact the exam center two days in advance with the necessary medical and supporting documents. Candidates using a scribe will be granted an additional 50 minutes of examination time to compensate for the assistance.

Final Reminders

All candidates are strongly advised to keep a close watch on the official BSEH website for any further updates or announcements regarding the examination. It is crucial to prepare all required documents beforehand and to plan the journey to the exam center in advance to avoid any last-minute complications. The admit card remains a vital document, and its safekeeping is the responsibility of the candidate until the completion of the examination process.
