ICSI Announces Exam Schedule for CSEET October and CS December 2026
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has officially released the examination timetable for the CSEET October 2026 session along with the CS Executive and Professional programmes scheduled for December 2026. Candidates preparing for these examinations can now plan their study schedules accordingly.
According to the official notification, the CSEET examinations will commence on 1 October 2026. Meanwhile, the CS Executive and Professional examinations are set to begin on 21 December 2026. In a notable development, the institute has also confirmed that all candidates will receive an additional 15 minutes of reading time before each paper to review their question papers thoroughly.
CSEET October 2026 Examination Schedule
The CSEET examinations will be conducted across four days in October. Each paper will run from 2:30 PM to 5:45 PM. The detailed schedule is as follows:
- 1 October 2026: Business Communication
- 3 October 2026: Fundamentals of Accounting
- 5 October 2026: Business Environment
- 6 October 2026: Business Law and Management (OMR based)
CS Executive December 2026 Examination Schedule
The CS Executive examinations will be held over six days in December. The papers are divided into two groups, with the schedule outlined below:
- 21 December 2026: Jurisprudence, Interpretation and General Laws (Group 1)
- 22 December 2026: Capital Market and Securities Laws (Group 2)
- 23 December 2026: Company Law and Practice (Group 1)
- 24 December 2026: Economic, Commercial and Intellectual Property Laws (Group 2)
- 26 December 2026: Setting up of Business, Industrial and Labour Laws (Group 1)
- 27 December 2026: Tax Laws and Practice (Group 2)
- 28 December 2026: Corporate Accounting and Financial Management (Group 1)
CS Professional December 2026 Examination Schedule
The CS Professional programme features a more extensive timetable, covering core subjects along with several elective options. The examination dates are as follows:
- 21 December 2026: Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG): Principles and Practices (Group 1)
- 22 December 2026: Strategic Management and Corporate Finance (Group 2)
- 23 December 2026: Drafting, Pleadings and Appearances (Group 1)
- 24 December 2026: Corporate Restructuring, Valuation and Insolvency (Group 2)
- 26 December 2026: Compliance Management, Audit and Due Diligence (Group 1) and Elective Subject 2 (Open Book Exam, Group 2)
- 27 December 2026: Mediation and Conciliation (Group 2 Optional), GST and Corporate Tax Planning (Group 2 Optional), Labour Law and Practice (Group 2 Optional), Banking and Insurance – Law and Practice (Group 2 Optional), Insolvency and Bankruptcy – Law and Practice (Group 2 Optional)
- 28 December 2026: CSR and Social Governance (Group 1 Optional), Internal and Forensic Audit (Group 1 Optional), Intellectual Property Rights – Law and Practice (Group 1 Optional), Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Cyber Security – Law and Practice (Group 1 Optional)
All examinations will follow the standard afternoon time slot from 2:30 PM to 5:45 PM. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official ICSI website for any updates or modifications to the schedule. The additional reading time of 15 minutes will be provided uniformly across all papers to ensure candidates have adequate time to understand the questions before attempting their answers.
