The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially confirmed the release date for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results. This announcement brings significant relief to the over 13 lakh candidates who appeared for the first session of one of India’s most competitive engineering entrance examinations. When Will the Results Be Declared?
According to the latest update from the NTA, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results are expected to be released on Monday, 16 February 2026. The first session of the examination was conducted in January, with the B.E./B.Tech papers held across ten shifts between 21 January and 29 January. The Paper 2 examinations for B.Arch and B.Planning applicants took place on 29 January.

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination was conducted on 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 January. With the Session 1 results now scheduled for release, the NTA has also outlined the timeline for Session 2, providing candidates with a clear roadmap for the admission cycle.
Candidates who are not satisfied with their Session 1 performance have the opportunity to improve their scores by appearing for Session 2. The application window for Session 2 remains open until 25 February 2026. The Session 2 examinations are scheduled to be conducted from 2 April to 9 April 2026.
