Manipur Board Declares Class 10 Results; Overall Pass Percentage Stands at 88.74%

The Board of Secondary Education, Manipur has officially released the results for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations. This year, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at an impressive 88.74%. Students who appeared for the Class 10 board exams can now access their scorecards through the official results portal.

Examination Statistics and Candidate Performance

A total of 36,726 students had registered for the Manipur HSLC examinations this year. Of these, 36,579 candidates actually appeared for the tests, and 32,459 students successfully cleared the exams.

When analyzing performance across genders, male students demonstrated a marginally higher success rate. Out of 18,374 boys who registered, 18,283 appeared for the examinations, and 16,253 emerged successful. The pass percentage for male candidates stood at 88.90%.

For female students, 18,352 candidates had registered, with 18,296 appearing for the exams. Among them, 16,206 students passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 88.58%.

Comparison Between Regular and External Candidates

A significant disparity was observed between the performance of regular and external candidates. In the regular category, 36,529 students were enrolled, of whom 36,384 appeared for the examinations and 32,376 qualified. This group achieved a pass percentage of 88.98%.

In contrast, the external category witnessed considerably lower success rates. Only 197 external candidates had registered, with 195 actually sitting for the exams. Merely 83 candidates from this group managed to pass, bringing the pass percentage to just 42.56%.

Students are advised to carefully verify the following information on their downloaded mark sheets:

  • Roll number
  • Candidate’s full name
  • Name of the school
  • Division
  • Subject-wise theory examination scores
  • Subject-wise internal assessment marks
  • Total marks obtained

Candidates can follow these simple steps to view and download their scorecards:

  • Visit the official results website designated for Manipur board examinations.
  • Locate and click on the link corresponding to the HSLC results.
  • Enter the required credentials, including roll number and registration number.
  • Press the submit button to proceed.
  • The result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download the scorecard and keep multiple copies for future reference.

Students are encouraged to take a printout of their results and verify all personal details mentioned on the mark sheet. In case of any discrepancies, they should immediately contact the board authorities for rectification. The board has also advised students to keep their login credentials handy for quick access to results during peak traffic hours.
