Chhattisgarh Leads Nation in Parent Participation for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026

Chhattisgarh has emerged as the frontrunner in parental involvement for the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 initiative, securing the top position nationwide. According to state officials, the registration numbers reflect a remarkable response from families across the region.

The state has recorded over 25.16 lakh registrations so far, comprising approximately 22.75 lakh students, 1.55 lakh teachers, and 81,533 parents. While Chhattisgarh ranks fourth nationally in total registrations, its parent participation rate stands unmatched at the number one spot.

District-Level Highlights

Balodabazar district leads the parental engagement chart with 14,658 registrations from guardians, followed closely by Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district with 9,952 parent registrations. Officials attribute this success to systematic district-level review meetings that ensured maximum outreach and participation.

To further streamline the process, on-site registration facilities were made available at teacher training centers. This initiative proved instrumental in boosting teacher participation numbers significantly, as educators could complete their registration during training sessions with proper guidance.

Innovative Outreach Strategies

A standout moment came during the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha Mela’ organized in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, where more than 10,000 registrations were completed in a single day. This marked a substantial jump from the daily average of approximately 1,500 registrations witnessed earlier. The event saw enthusiastic involvement from schools, teachers, students, and the local community, with similar fairs now being planned across other districts.

The registration window, which opened on December 1, will remain active until January 11. Officials express confidence that the state can comfortably surpass its target of 30 lakh registrations before the deadline.

Official Response and Vision

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai hailed this achievement as a testament to the collective efforts of students, teachers, and parents. He emphasized that the Prime Minister’s message of treating examinations as celebrations rather than sources of stress has been wholeheartedly embraced throughout Chhattisgarh.

The Chief Minister expressed optimism that this campaign will evolve into a full-fledged public movement in the coming days, further strengthening the state’s educational initiatives and fostering a positive examination culture among young learners.

This milestone underscores Chhattisgarh’s commitment to educational excellence and its proactive approach to engaging all stakeholders in the academic journey of students. The state’s strategy of combining grassroots-level outreach with digital registration platforms appears to be yielding impressive results, setting a benchmark for other states to follow.
