President Murmu to Grace Convocation Ceremonies at Two Andhra Universities
President Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a two-day visit to Andhra Pradesh beginning June 30, during which she will preside over convocation ceremonies at two prominent universities in the state as the chief guest.
First Stop: Central Tribal University in Visakhapatnam
On Tuesday, June 30, the President will attend the inaugural convocation of the Central Tribal University located in Visakhapatnam. She is expected to arrive at the venue around 1:00 PM to address the gathering and confer degrees upon the graduating cohort.
Following the ceremony, Murmu will depart for Bengaluru, where she is scheduled to spend the night at the Karnataka Lok Bhawan.
Second Engagement: Central University in Anantapur
The following day, July 1, the President will travel from Bengaluru’s HAL Airport to Anantapur by helicopter. Her itinerary includes attending the first convocation of the Central University of Andhra Pradesh in Anantapur, scheduled to take place between 11:00 AM and 12:00 noon.
After fulfilling her duties at the Anantapur ceremony, the President will fly back to HAL Airport in Bengaluru. Her return journey to the national capital is planned for the same afternoon, with an expected arrival at Palam Airport in New Delhi by 4:00 PM. She is then slated to reach Rashtrapati Bhavan at approximately 4:25 PM.
