Udaan 2026: Maharishi University Celebrates Academic Excellence with Seychelles High Commissioner
Maharishi University of Information Technology in Lucknow hosted its annual “Udaan 2026 – Guruvandan Samman” ceremony on Monday, drawing a large gathering of students, faculty members, and academic leaders. The event witnessed participation from over 600 students and more than 150 principals and teachers, making it one of the university’s most significant academic celebrations of the year.
Seychelles High Commissioner Graces the Occasion as Chief Guest
The highlight of the ceremony was the presence of Her Excellency Harisoa Lalatiana Akousse, the Seychelles High Commissioner to India, who attended as the chief guest. She was accompanied by Rakotomavo Kiady, who travelled from Seychelles to join the celebrations. During her visit, the High Commissioner interacted warmly with both students and educators, taking time to appreciate the university’s educational framework and its various academic initiatives.
In her interactions with the gathering, the High Commissioner engaged with high-achieving students, offering words of encouragement and motivation. Her presence underscored the growing international recognition of the university’s efforts in fostering academic talent and holistic development.
