TBSE Declares Class 10 and 12 Results for 2026

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has officially released the outcomes for both the Madhyamik (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) examinations. Students who appeared for these tests can now access and download their scorecards through the board’s official portal. The results were made public shortly after noon, at approximately 12:15 PM, on 8th May 2026.

Exam Statistics and Participation

This academic year witnessed significant participation from students across the state. Nearly 38,000 candidates registered for the Class 10 examinations, while the Class 12 exams saw approximately 30,000 students in attendance. These numbers reflect the substantial scale at which the board operates annually.

Examination Schedule and Timeline

The board examinations were conducted over a structured period earlier this year. The Class 10 exams commenced on 26th February and concluded on 24th March 2026. Meanwhile, the Class 12 examinations started a day earlier, on 25th February, and ran through until 30th March 2026. For students in the Science, Arts, and Commerce streams, the practical examinations were held separately, taking place between 17th November and 1st December of the previous year.

Importance of Downloading the Provisional Scorecard

The board has issued a recommendation for all students to print their online mark sheets immediately after downloading them. This provisional document serves a crucial purpose in the interim period before the official certificates are distributed. Educational institutions, colleges, and various application processes often require proof of results, making the printed copy a valuable asset for students to keep on hand.

Historical Performance Trends

Looking at recent years’ data provides context for this year’s expectations. The previous year saw a commendable pass percentage of 86.53% for Class 10 students. For Class 12, the pass rate stood at 79.29%. In terms of announcement dates, the board has shown some variation in recent times. The 2024 results were released on 24th May, while in 2023, students received their outcomes on 5th June. The 2022 results were declared later in the year, on 6th July.

Step-by-Step Guide to Access Results

Students can retrieve their scorecards by following a straightforward process on the official TBSE results portal. Here is a systematic breakdown of the required steps:

  • Navigate to the official TBSE results website using your preferred web browser.
  • Locate and select the appropriate link for either the Madhyamik Result or the Higher Secondary Result for 2026.
  • Enter your roll number and registration number in the designated fields.
  • Submit the provided information to proceed with the inquiry.
  • Once the result appears on your screen, review the details carefully for accuracy.
  • Download the scorecard and ensure you save a copy for future reference and print a hard copy as advised.

By following these instructions, students can efficiently obtain their results and take the necessary next steps in their academic journey. The board’s timely announcement allows candidates to plan their future educational or professional pursuits without unnecessary delay.
